Whether drivers in the Pittsburgh are a looking for a truck that's good for work or for fun, the Ram 1500 is a great, all-purpose pickup that's versatile enough for anything.
Here at Diehl of Robinson we love our Ram pickup trucks. Well-made, rugged and sturdy, yet with luxury-quality materials and comfort, all levels of the Ram pretty much recommend themselves.
Ram has made several changes to the 1500 for model year 2017, including eliminating the previously-optional six-speed automatic transmission. Now, every trim in the lineup gets a standard powerful eight-speed automatic. It may be the only option available for transmissions now, but we promise you that you won't be complaining about that.
Otherwise, for 2017 Ram has dropped one of its trim levels. The previously-available Outdoorsman trim has been retired, but there is still an incredibly long list of great options for trims available, including:
Whether you need a Ram 1500 for work to take the family camping at Raccoon Creek State Park, or to tow the boat out to the boat ramp, this truck can do it all.
The Ram 1500 can tow up to 8,000 pounds and gives drivers around 395 horsepower. The eight-speed automatic transmission is smooth and powerful and the Ram-unique spring coil suspension in the rear means that your ride is easy and manageable whether the truck is loaded down with weight or empty.
